Dogan Labs ("we", "our", or "us") built UnVocal as a commercial application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our macOS application UnVocal.

The Short Version: UnVocal collects absolutely no personal data. Period. Everything happens locally on your Mac. We have no servers, no cloud processing, no analytics, and no tracking.

Information We Collect

None.

UnVocal is designed to operate entirely offline. The application:

Does NOT collect any personal information
Does NOT collect any usage data or analytics
Does NOT track your activity
Does NOT use cookies or similar technologies
Does NOT make any network connections
Does NOT upload your music, audio files, or any other data to any server
Does NOT require an account or registration
Does NOT access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone

All audio processing, vocal separation, lyrics transcription, and video export happen entirely on your device using on-device AI models (Demucs and Whisper). Your music files never leave your computer.

Data Processing

All data processing occurs locally on your Mac:

Audio files are processed using on-device AI models
Separated tracks are saved to locations you choose
Lyrics are transcribed locally using Whisper
No data is transmitted over the internet

Third-Party Services

UnVocal does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

The only external service interaction is with Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchase verification, which is handled entirely by Apple's frameworks and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Since we do not collect any data from any user, we also do not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13.

App Store Privacy Labels

In accordance with Apple's App Store requirements, UnVocal declares: Data Not Collected — We do not collect any data from this app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
